Chambord: French Martinis and French Manicures event

Giovedì scorso sono stata nella favolosa Shooting Gallery, all’interno del Haymarket Hotel di Londra.

L’evento consisteva nel provare il French Martini a base del liquore Chambord, mentre una nail expert (o come si chiama :-)) ti faceva la french alle unghie!

Carinissimo l’evento e delizioso il cocktail, anche se preferisco il solo Chambord e Champagne.
La location era favolosa, sia la sala dove eravamo noi, che l’intero albergo che ho avuto la fortuna di visitare in parte, probabilmente dopo che, scattando circa dieci foto all’albero di Natale, il personale dell’albergo ha deciso che era meglio farmi fotografare anche altro. 🙂

Di seguito le loro dosi del French Martini e un po’ di foto della serata!

French Martini

• 50 mL Chambord Flavored Vodka
• 15 mL Chambord Liqueur
• 100 mL Pineapple Juice

Agitare gli ingredienti con il ghiaccio e versare nel bicchiere da martini. Guarnire con i lamponi.

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into martini glass. Garnish with raspberries.

Last Thursday I was in the fabulous Shooting Gallery, in the Haymarket Hotel in London.

Chambord, the black raspberry liqueur, was hosting an event where you had the chance of tasting a very special French Martini while, at the same time, having your nails done by professional manicures!

Both the event and the cocktails were lovely even though, to my taste, Chambord is even better when mixed with champagne. The Shooting Gallery was fabulous and the kind Hotel Staff invited me to visit other rooms as well. Probably they got the idea by looking at me taking tens of photos of their Christmas tree. 🙂
