Taste and Match in London, siete curiosi?

English Version below

Ci vediamo presto!

English Version

With my usual, elegant, delay, here I finally am with the post about Taste and Match in London, which was held on the 20th of July at Divertimenti Cookery School, in Knightsbridge.

Taste and Match is a very friendly event where 7 “chefs” (either supper club owners or food bloggers) cooked 7 recipes to go with 7 Italian wines. Each visitor had the chance to taste 7 dishes with 7 glasses of wine.
Nice, isn’t it?

If I had to describe the evening in three words, those would be:
• Friends
• Good Wine
• Great Food
The first one is really important to me! I went to this dinner where I only knew Oste Fernando and Linguina dei Campi (and she cooked the fabulous Pasta dei Campi with the pluri awarded Rossi pesto: can’t go wrong with that) and I spent the evening chatting about food, recipes, Italy, London and many other topics with 90% of the attendees.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and in front of a glass of wine and a plate of pasta (yes, I’m  still Italian ☺) it was so easy to talk with every person in the room. I left the dinner (reluctantly) at around 23:00, after a really beautiful experience and lots oh photos!
Definitely it was an event to be repeated soon, is that right Oste?! ☺

Plus the amazing Flaminio Oil.

What was my favourite dish? Francesca’s ravioli, decorated with pink polka dots, instantly became my favourite! But all the recipes were definitely excellent!
See you soon!
